New Beginning Level 1 Zero to Gaelic Session - Section B

Slighe nan Gaidheal’s mission is to teach and disseminate to the general public the Scottish Gaelic language in its contemporary and historical context through classes, performances, and the encouragement of its routine use.Since 1997, we have built a dynamic and active membership base and grown into a lively, welcoming community of language-learners, musicians, singers, dancers, historians, artists, storytellers, and Celtic scholars.

This Z2G class will be held via video Zoom calls - Classes will begin January 30, 2021, 11:30am-1:00pm (PT).

Fàilte! (Welcome!) Registration is now open for our new Beginning Learner Zero to Gaelic (Z2G) session. This Section B session will be held via Zoom video calls - a total of fourteen 1.5 hour sessions - starting January 30, 2021. Classes will be held on Saturday&#x27;s from 11:30am-1:00pm (Pacific Time) on the following dates: Jan 30, Feb 6, 13, 27, Mar 6, 13, 27, Apr 10, 24, May 8, 15, 22, and June 5, 12.A Zoom link will be sent to participants prior to January 30th. We recommend using video for the Zoom sessions. If you connect only via phone link, rather than video Zoom, some content may not be visible.*Please note: If the presenter is unable to meet on any given date, an alternate meeting date will be arranged in consultation with the participants. Content will generally follow the outline on the Syllabus. Maolalaigh, J. MacInnes; 2011 edition, with audio CD. It is often sold without CD. Confirm with the seller that you will be ordering a book and CD set. We are using 2011 ed.
