IF traditional methods have not brought you the outcomes you have desired for your client or student, I may know the reason why.

<p>Nothing happens without our brain. Our brains work behind the scenes, without our conscious awareness. Traditional approaches, based on Learning Theory, assume that everyone&#x27;s brains function the same way. And many of these techniques are quite good. However, the impacts on brain structure and function by various pre- and post-natal events are not taken into account, and therefore these strategies are not necessarily a good fit. If you and your client/student have faced disappointment and frustration despite every intervention or behavioral strategy you can think of, it may well be because your young one has a brain-based difference. Brain-based differences may prevent them from performing the cognitive tasks necessary to meet the expectations held out for them, or complete the strategies offered them. The neurobehavioral framework allows us to explore our child&#x27;s unique brain strengths and challenges, and to view behavior, not as intentional, but rather as behavioral symptoms of brain-based differences. Until neurobehavioral differences are recognized as the source of behaviors, all parties will continue to face frustration, fear and anger. </p>
