About this event

  • 1 hour

When an individual thinks about “networking,” what comes to mind is: Get out there! Meet people! Attend events! For the extrovert, this is fun. For the introvert, this is work! Networking comes more naturally and easily for the extrovert. For the introvert, the social demand to attend events and meet new people is intimidating, scary, and even frightening. The thought of attending a networking event can cause anxiety attacks.

Networking is credited as the most successful means to find employment. The US Department of Labor reports that most jobs are obtained through networking. Also, career advancement and career success are dependent on networking skills.

Come learn the tips for successful business networking for the extrovert and introvert. The opportunity to learn how to network and practice networking skills gives one the confidence to get out there, meet people and attend events!
