Neponset RiverFest

The Neponset River Watershed Association is a grassroots, member-supported conservation group formed in 1967, with a goal to clean up and protect the Neponset River, its tributaries and surrounding watershed lands.The Watershed includes Hyde Park, Mattapan, Dorchester, Canton, Dedham, Dover, Foxborough, Medfield, Milton, Norwood, Quincy, Randolph, Sharon, Stoughton, Walpole, Westwood.

<DIV><SPAN>Join us as we celebrate the Neponset River and the beautiful parks and pedestrian paths along the shore, along with the natural salt marshes and wetlands that support more than 200 species of birds, fish and other wildlife.<BR><BR>This is a family-friendly, public event. We encourage you to bring a blanket and a picnic, and spend the day!<BR><BR>All activities are FREE and include kayaking, biking, rock wall climbing, soccer demonstrations, bouncy house, spray deck, fishing clinic, multiple food trucks, live musical performances, environmental and science exhibits, kid's activities, and more!</SPAN></DIV>

We are currently recruiting volunteers to help with set-up/clean-up, parking, and general troubleshooting. Volunteers should be available to help from 8am-4pm.
