Neonatal Resuscitation Program™ Supplementary Instructor Course and Mentoring

This course is intended to supplement and not replace the Online NRP Instructor Candidate Curriculum set-up by the AAP.

Course registration includes the two required NRP Instructor Candidate mentoring days, which will be scheduled and completed on separate occasions. Each mentoring session will last 6-8 hours. These days will provide the Instructor candidate with multiple opportunities to practice their skills including, integrated skills, scenario development and debriefing. One of the NRP Instructor Mentors will work with you to schedule your return visits to meet your mentoring requirements. Please note that mentoring days will be scheduled within 90 days of course attendance. Mentoring days will align with routine NRP provider renewal session at St. Vincent Women’s Hospital.

Please be aware of the AAP timelines. Instructor candidates are required to complete all the required curriculum and mentoring sessions within 1 year of purchasing the on-line candidate curriculum. Continuing Education credits are provided by the AAP only with completion of the AAP on-line Instructor Candidate Curriculum.
