Overview
NRP
The Neonatal Resuscitation Program® (NRP®) course conveys an evidence-based approach to care of the newborn at birth and facilitates effective team-based care for healthcare professionals who care for newborns at the time of delivery. NRP utilizes a blended learning approach, which includes on-line testing, on-line case-based simulations, and hands-on case-based simulation/debriefing that focus on critical leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
CLASS LOCATION - ED Room 19
SPH EMPLOYEES PRIOR TO THE COURSE:
- Review the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation 8th Edition
- Email Tessa McGree (tmcgree@sphealth.org) to have Healthstream assigned
- Complete the NRP Healthstream (within 90 days of the course)
- Print the on-line completion certificate and bring that with you to the class
NON-SPH EMPLOYEES PRIOR TO THE COURSE:
- Review the Textbook of Neonatal Resuscitation 8th Edition
- Purchase and Complete the NRP Curriculum (within 90 days of the course)
- NRP 8th Edition Advanced(1-11) Provider Curriculum Summary | AAP NRP
- Print the on-line completion certificate and bring that with you to the class
