ABOUT 295 FIFTH AVENUE
Originally built in 1920 by notable builder George Backer, the 700,000-square-foot building was once bustling with New York City’s textile merchants. Makers of rugs, towels, linens, and more had offices and showrooms inside. Today, the Textile Building has been redeveloped by Tribeca Investment Group, PGIM Real Estate, and Meadow Partners to fit the needs of modern office workers and is ready to lease up. The adaptive reuse project will create inviting office, amenity, and lobby spaces with a welcoming indoor-outdoor vibe. Various biophilic appear throughout the building, which boast open, light-filled areas and a tonal, earthy color palette.
