Needlefelting Workshop - Let's Make Your Pet's Portrait

(PLEASE email minipupfelting@yahoo.com to send the instructor your pup's picture, so she can prepare your felting kit of your pet for this class. If you have, and would like to incorporate your pet's fur or/and whiskers, please bring it to the class. )

Join us at Mutts Coffee for a fun and creative needlefelting workshop! Learn how to turn wool into a masterpiece as you create a portrait of your beloved pet. No experience necessary -just bring your love for your pet, and the instructor will guide you every step of the way. Email a photo of your furry friend to the instructor in advance (minipupfelting@yahoo.com), so she can prepare a "customized felting kit of your pet". After the workshop, you will leave with a unique piece of art that captures their personality. Don't miss out on this pawsitively delightful event!

100% of the benefit will be donated to Angels with Misplaced Wings, a Nonprofit organization in Washington State, who runs a sanctuary for "differently-abled and senior" animals.

About the instructor: Sunami Bjornson at Mini-Pup Creations is a self-taught needle felter. She started needlefelting by incorporating her husky's fur and wool soon after her first husky's passing in 2013. Making keepsake of the beloved dog helped her to cope with the grief.

Before the pandemic, she volunteered for "Memorial Art Workshop" at DoveLewis Animal Emergency Hospital to support people who had lost their pets. Her passion is to bring some comfort to people who has lost their pets as well as to make monetary contributions to animal related NPOs by holding fundraising workshops like this, and participating fund raising auctions.

She has been specializing making life-like dogs and cats replicas by needlefelting, and has made about 500 Mini-Pups and Mini-Kitties for her clients all over the world via Etsy.com. Her work can be viewed in Instagram @minipupcreations.
