A hands-on fiber art experience for young people. Participants will learn to crochet and will make an I-Cord on a knitting machine that can be turned into a bracelet.

After the hands-on projects participants will have the chance to experience fiber animals like llamas and baby sheep up close and explore a fiber marketplace with yarn, fleece, and felted items.

A small materials fee of $2 may be charged.

Crochet hooks will be available for use during class.

Participants will be encouraged to consider exhibiting their finished item at a local County Fair or other contest. A Fair Judge will be present to offer advice on preparing an item for exhibit.

Suggested ages: 8 and up. Children must be accompanied by adult.

Class is held in conjunction with St. Cloud Spin Fest & Fiber Fair https://www.facebook.com/stcloudspinfest
