ABOUT NECF:
NECF 2016 will highlight the original works of some of the country's most innovative dance makers. A select handful of modern dance choreographers, chosen from over 50 applicants nationwide, will be setting their choreography on Fusionworks dancers during several week-long residencies this summer. This work will then be presented in a public performance on Saturday, November 5th at 8pm at the McVinney Auditorium in Providence, RI. Also included in the festival will be an educational concert on November 4th for over 650 students from schools from throughout RI, as well as an exciting array of master classes open to the community, which will be held at various locations from June to November.
This Year's NECF Choreographers:

In February, we ran a Kickstarter campaign to fund NECF 2016 and it was a huge success! Click here to check out the campaign video and read more about NECF and this year's choreographers.
NECF is Fusionworks Dance Company’s largest endeavor to date. In presenting this festival, Fusionworks aims to connect Rhode Island with what is happening right now in modern dance around the country; to further the arts in RI communities; to give emerging choreographers nationwide an opportunity to showcase their work; and to enhance the public’s understanding and appreciation of modern dance.
