NEC Symposium: June 2 - 5, 2019

The NEC Society and Section of Pediatric Surgery at the University of Michigan, with support from the Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute (PCORI) and National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), present the NEC Symposium.

The NEC Symposium will convene some of the most committed NEC stakeholders and provide the setting for discovery, collaboration, and sustained partnerships on patient-centered research.

Will Continuing Medical Education Credits (CMEs) be available for this event? How do I register for CME credit?

Yes, 20.5 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) will be available. To register for CMEs please check the appropriate box at registration and provide the $35 payment.

Who should attend the NEC Symposium?

The NEC Symposium will attract approximately 300 NEC stakeholders. Clinicians, scientists, practitioners, and therapists should click "register now" and submit the required information and registration fee. Patient-families, non-profit organizations, industry, and students should email Jennifer@NECsociety.org for registration inquiries.

What are my lodging options?

Rooms have been blocked at the Bell Tower and Graduate Ann Arbor hotels - please call them directly and say you're attending the NEC Symposium. Additional lodging information can be found at VisitAnnArbor.org Symposium participants are encouraged to stay in/near downtown Ann Arbor.

How do I get to/from the Symposium?

The NEC Symposium will take place at the Michigan League on the University of Michigan campus, walking distance from downtown Ann Arbor. Detroit Metro Airport (DTW) is about 30 miles from Ann Arbor. Participants can get from DTW to Ann Arbor via shuttles, taxis, etc. Rental cars are not recommended for participants who stay in downtown Ann Arbor as the venue and restaurants will be within walking distance.
