NEAT Community Listening Circle
Through the Neighborhood Empowerment and Advocacy Training (NEAT) project, Second Harvest Food Bank of Northeast Tennessee is seeking to identify neighbors with lived experience in food insecurity, collect their feedback and stories as they relate to food assistance programs, and equip them with the tools to advocate for themselves and their communities.
During this event, we will offer information about nutrition assistance programs like SNAP, WIC, the Free and Reduced School Lunch Program, and more. We hope to hear your feedback on how these programs have impacted you and your family, and we would love to be able to share your story with others. The event will also offer opportunities for you to get involved in advocating for the continued support of these programs.
Dinner and time compensation will be available for registered participants. Please be sure to register any children who will be accompanying you.
