Expectations for Mentors & Mentees
NCWAHN strives to create a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all involved. We would like to establish a few expectations for all members interested in our mentorship event. NCWAHN hopes all mentors and mentees are:
- Excited to develop a mentor/mentee relationship centered around providing/receiving professional guidance;
- Available to connect with another professional in the affordable housing field at least once a quarter for a year;
- Supportive, inclusive, and respectful of all people in the affordable housing industry;
- Invested in upholding professional and kind working relationships.
After the event, NCWAHN Board of Directors will help facilitate connections between mentors and mentees who expressed interest in pursuing a connection.
