About this event

  • 1 hour

NCCJ presents our first ever self-care session EXCLUSIVELY for Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color.

Join NCCJ for self-care tips and an interactive discussion on how we as BIPOC can create a space in our lives for daily healing and peace for ourselves and our communities. This program is designed specifically for members of the BIPOC community. In the United States, racism is a problem that continues to surface in both systems and interpersonal relationships. For Black, Indigenous, and Other People of Color navigating a world of racial marginalization causes emotional, psychological, and physical stress and trauma which make navigating daily life a challenge. Please be mindful this session is open for BIPOC ONLY. We look forward to our white friends joining us for other community perspectives where we discuss how you can further build your accomplice muscle. Please email sandrava@nccj.org if this free event "sells out"
