About this event

  • 1 hour

Finding the words to explain what is happening in the media, concepts of race to children, and the "woke revolt" can be difficult, especially when we as adults are still trying to grasp these concepts and navigate our own understanding.

Together, we will explore the following areas:

  • How young is too young to talk about race?
  • How to share age appropriate information?
  • What are the protests in our country and around the world all about?
  • Why isn’t being “colorblind” helpful?
  • Ways to make conversations about race more commonplace.

Please contact sandrava@nccj.org if this free event is "sold out".
