NC STRIVE Eastern Region

The NC STRIVE (Student Transition Resource Initiative for Veteran's Education, is committed to enhancing the success of student veterans in their pursuit of degrees in higher education.  Members represent two-year and four-year public and private colleges and universities; federal and state agencies; LME/MCOs; treatment agencies; Veterans and their families; Veteran Service Organizations and other advocates; and nonprofits.  Through annual conferences, information is provided to increase awareness of challenges to transitioning Veterans in an academic setting; enhance services and supports offered to student Veterans; and promote federal, state, and community resources and supports;

NC STRIVE

This year's event will feature panels that will be devoted to the successful transition of student Veterans from the military to academia.  Breakout sessions will address topics such as training for administrators, faculty, and staff; behavioral health issues such as opioid misuse and suicide prevention; and resources.  Thank you toMicrotel Inn and Suites of Greenville as they will be sponsoring the lunches.  Please join us!
