One regulation requirement of the new Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA) is the development of a food safety plan for facilities required to conduct a hazard analysis and implement preventive controls. Development and implementation of the plan must be done under the supervision of a Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).

This 20-hour training course, following the Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance (FSPCA) standardized curriculum recognized by the FDA, is taught by certified lead instructors. Individuals successfully completing the course will receive an official certificate from FSPCA.

What is the refund policy?

Eventbrite charges fees per ticket. Any cancelations will be refunded minus the fees charged by Eventbrite. You may cancel your registration until June 25, 2024.

What is the attendance policy?

The Food Safety Preventive Controls Alliance requires lead instructors to take attendance each day during the course. If you are not present for the entire course, we are not allowed to issue your certificate.

What if I need to step out to manage my business or facility?

We completely understand that the show must go on, even when you are traveling. If you need to step out during the course, you are welcome to do so, provided you don't miss too much content.

How do I get my certificate if I missed part of the class?

Communication with the instructors is key. If you know you are going to miss a substantial portion of the course, let us know as soon as possible so we can discuss whether a makeup session to go through the missed material is necessary before issuing your certificate.
