Admission: Donations per family are appreciated, and are listed as an option during the registration process. We will also gladly accept in-person donations the day of the event.

Your donations help offset the costs of providing these educational programs, including travel, lodging, fuel, animal care, and the ongoing care of our ambassador snakes, including veterinary care. Every contribution, no matter the amount, is sincerely appreciated and helps us continue sharing these programs across North Carolina.

Parking: Please keep in mind, parking will be limited and carpooling is greatly appreciated. Overflow parking will be roadside at the event site. Road-side parking is a short walk to the event site and anyone needing assistance will be accommodated. Parking attendees will be on-site to help manage.

Meet your presenters: Ken Hackney and Dawn Bartlett are North Carolina snake educators and conservationists dedicated to promoting understanding, respect, and coexistence with our native snakes. Through engaging presentations featuring live native species, they combine years of hands-on experience with science-based education to help replace fear with knowledge. Their mission is simple: educate, inspire, and protect North Carolina’s native snakes through conservation and public outreach.
