NC Appellate Pro Bono Program CLE

The NC Pro Bono Resource Center works to increase North Carolina attorney pro bono legal service as a means of addressing the access to justice gap in our state. The NC Appellate Pro Bono Program is a collaboration among the NC Court of Appeals, the NC Bar Association Appellate Practice Section, and the NC Pro Bono Resource Center.

CLE Topic:
The NC Appellate Pro Bono Program CLE is will cover the nuts and bolts of appellate practice, from filing the notice of appeal and settling the record to oral arguments and seeking further appellate review. The CLE is also a mandatory requirement for attorneys that wish to volunteer in the <A HREF="http://ncprobono.org/appellate" TARGET="_blank" DATA-MSYS-CLICKTRACK="0" REL="nofollow noopener noreferrer">North Carolina Appellate Pro Bono Program</A>. 
CLE Logistics:
This CLE will provide 3 hours of general CLE and .25 hours of ethics CLE, for a total of 3.25 hours of CLE. The CLE will be held at the NC Court of Appeals.
Some scholarship funding is available to cover attendee cost should the registration fee be a barrier for participation.
