Neighborhood Engagement's 2024 theme, Mission Possible - A Future Together, continues with the NBN Summer Mixer on June 1 from noon to 3:00 p.m. As we look to the future with NFK 2050, we'll be taking a step into the past at the historic Selden Market.
The open-house style event enables neighborhood influencers and civic league leaders to engage each other in activities and conversation. Residents can help envision the future at a series of NFK 2050 stations including a NFK 2050 Kids’ Corner and a citywide map. Share ideas for how to improve the city’s housing, economic development, parks, resiliency, transportation, and placemaking, among other topics. Anyone interested in participating is welcome to come out for one or all of the activities.
Light hors d’oeuvres and a sampling of desserts from Selden-Market vendors is available for a $10 registration cost. Drop-ins to the event are welcome, but registration for the food ends on May 29th at 6pm so that we can submit our food order to the vendors.
