About this event

  • 4 days 8 hours

The Hogwarts School of Witchcraft, Wizardry, and Science is in session! All young wizards ages 6-16 are invited to join us on a magical adventure. Hone your wizardry skills by attending potions and charms class, play quidditch to each points towards the House Cup, go on a scavenger hunt in search of the unicorn, and much more!

THIS WEEK ONLY: Our oldest wizards will be sorted into our Harry Potter Masterclass with Professor Tracy, where we will dive deeper into exploring the world of Harry Potter through science! This is perfect for returning campers who have already completed the Magic of Harry Potter camp.

Is it magic or is it science? Find out by attending Week 2 of Nazareth University Summer Science Camp!

Frequently asked questions

What time does camp start and end each day?

Camp starts at 9:00 AM and ends at 4:30 PM each day. Drop-off begins at 8:30 AM and pick-up ends by 5:00 PM. We are not able to accommodate early drop-off/late pick-up times.

Why has the cost of camp registration increased from last year?

We have tried our best to maintain our prices for this year's camp. Unfortunately, a significant increase in lunch pricing requires us to increase the registration fee to $400.

Is there a discount if I am registering multiple campers or if my camper attends multiple weeks?

YES! The multiple camp discount is 10% off the regular registration fee ($360 per camper per week). Please enter code Multicamp24 at checkout.

Do I have to pay the service and processing fees?

Nazareth has switched to using the Eventbrite platform which charges service and processing fees. If you do not want to pay these fees, you may mail in a check instead. Please note that your spot is not secured until payment is received.

Is lunch provided?

YES! Campers will eat at the dining hall where they will have the opportunity to choose from a variety of selections including pizza, burgers, salad bar, and a rotating daily entrée. (The menu will be posted on the Science Camp website when it becomes available.)

Can the dining hall accommodate food allergies?

Please specify dietary restrictions on the Camp Registration Form, which you will be asked to complete after registration. The Director of Food Services will be notified of these accommodations and will work to ensure the proper food selections are available.

What else in included in the cost of camp registration?

In addition to lunch, campers will be provided with a daily snack, Science Camp water bottle, and t-shirt. Registration fees also cover the cost of materials for daily activities such as experiments and crafts, many of which campers can take home.

What is the closing ceremony?

At the end of each week we hold a closing ceremony to showcase all of the fun we have had throughout the week and to celebrate each camper. You are invited to attend the closing ceremony at 4:00 PM on Friday.

What do I do if my child has special medical needs?

Please specify individual medical needs on the Camp Registration Form, which you will be asked to complete after registration. Medications can be dropped off on the first day of camp. There is no nurse on duty but Campus Safety is well equipped to handle any emergency.
