FEATURED PRESENTATION: 2024-2025 Leadership Team Installation

A special thanks to State Representative Vikki Goodwin for swearing in our new leadership team. Rep. Goodwin is serving her third term representing Texas House District 47 in Western Travis County which includes parts of Austin, Bee Cave and Lake Travis. In her three sessions, she has focused on supporting public schools, addressing health and public safety issues, and helping small businesses.

In her third session, four of her bills became law. Two of the laws, the Natalia Cox Act and Cati’s Act, both resulted from tragedies and both intend to prevent other families from going through similar tragedies. Another law expands Acudetox, a non-pharmaceutical mental health therapy, and her fourth law created the Texas Food System Security and Resiliency Planning Council.

Rep. Goodwin works across the aisle for sound policy that benefits the people of Texas.
