About this event

Trauma-Informed Care Organizational Sustainability Once participants have a thorough understanding of trauma-informed care, our work still requires that we support youth through systems and institutions that are NOT in alignment with trauma-informed concepts and practices. This training utilizes a harm reduction framework to aid participants in supporting youth with navigating the bureaucratic morass they must face to access supportive services such as the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP/food stamps), Medicaid insurance, health care providers, housing, employment assistance, etc.
