BayGeo and the UC Berkeley Geospatial Innovation Facility are excited to announce a special event:
Navigating Knowledge: The BayGeo/UC Berkeley 2025 Geospatial Education Summit
Join geospatial educators, students, and Bay Area professionals to discuss the Summit theme: “Navigating Knowledge: Innovating Geospatial Education Together”.
The GeoEducation Summit at UC Berkeley is an opportunity for educators, students, and Bay Area professionals to share their work and research, learn new geospatial skills and tools, and build community by networking with Bay Area GIS experts and the next generation of geospatial leaders and researchers.
For students, the Summit will connect you with educators, researchers, and leaders in the geospatial field who are doing the kind of work that may inspire your career path.
For educators and researchers, the Summit will be an opportunity to discuss curricular and pedagogical innovations, current research directions, and building bridges between our students and careers in the geospatial field.
For industry professionals, the Summit will provide a platform to share your work, acquire new skills and tools, and foster connections between your organization and the educators who are training your future workforce.
We welcome your participation! Please let us know if you are interested in joining the Summit as a speaker, observer, or active participant by completing this brief form.
For questions, please contact BayGeo Education Director Rick Kos at rkos@baygeo.org or Nancy Thomas at UC Berkeley's Geospatial Innovation Facility at nethomas@berkeley.edu
Due to limited capacity, please only register if you're confident you can attend—this helps us accommodate as many people as possible.
