Join the New York City Department of Transportation (NYC DOT) for an online session for older adults and people with disabilities. Hear from key transportation agencies, learn about new accessibility programs, and get tips and tools to help you get around more easily.
Whether you're a regular transit rider, a caregiver, or just getting started, this session will give you helpful information to support your travel in the Greater NYC area.
What to Expect:
- Understand the Transit Network: Learn what each transportation agency handles—from city streets and sidewalks to the NYC airports.
- Plan with Confidence: Get tips on using trip planning tools and accessing fare discounts.
- See What’s New in Accessibility: Hear about the latest initiatives, including new subway elevators, the new reduced fare program for PATH train riders with disabilities, and more.
- Connect with Resources: Find out where to go with questions, how to submit feedback, and how to stay informed and engaged with each agency.
