Nature of Art Camp
Join us for a creative and fun-filled week at Confluence Park! At Nature of Art Camp, kids will have the chance to explore their artistic side while immersing themselves in the beauty of nature.
Each day, students will learn about a different theme tied into the ecosystem of the river, park, and the communities we live in. Much of the day will be spent making artwork that reflects our interest in the natural world. We will use clay, fabric, and paint, work together and individually; learn to look and pay attention to things we may have overlooked before. Our experienced instructors will guide campers through different art techniques and encourage them to unleash their imagination. Students should expect to spend time by the river, climbing, jumping, and walking outside.
Each day will have a full schedule with several art projects, a long walk on the river, lunch, time to play, and talk about what we've observed. On some days we will have an environmental or scientific ambassador come and share their knowledge with us. Other days we fish or do yoga. Our emphasis is on creating art and building art skills, stewarding our San Antonio River, creating a supportive and kind community, and expressing ourselves while learning by observation and imagination.

Program Information
Tuition is $125 per student for the week. Transportation is not provided to or from the program. Participants will need to bring their own lunch and water bottle. Snacks will be provided. Aftercare is provided free of charge from 4:00 – 5:00PM.
Ages 10-13.
Students may only register for one section. Duplicate registration will not be accepted.
