About this event

  • 2 hours

Join Open Space Authority staff and volunteers to witness the beauty of transition at Máyyan 'Ooyákma – Coyote Ridge. We will be hosting a nature journaling session to document the changes that this season brings as well as learn about some fascinating residents of the ridge!

We will be providing small notebooks, pencils, coloring pencils, and binoculars for this venture. If you have supplies of your own that you feel more comfortable with, please bring them!

This program will encompass exploration around our staging area and we may go up to the Serpentine Spring (.7 miles round trip) or down to the nearby creek to see wildlife. We recommend that you bring sunscreen, good walking shoes, hat and plenty of water as most of these areas lack shade.
