Frequently asked questions

Do I need any prior birding or botany experience?

Nope! All are welcome whether it's your very first time doing either, or you're a well-versed scholar in both.

What should I bring?

Appropriate clothing for the outdoors (it will very likely be warm and humid), any identification tools (field guides, binoculars, phones, cameras), water, snacks if needed, sunscreen, hat.

Are pets allowed?

We ask that you leave pets out of this one. Dogs may startle birds and obstruct the experience for some, cats (on a bird hike?) NO, and horses/pack animals are not permitted. Thanks for understanding.
