Native Landscaping to Attract Wildlife in Suburban Neighborhoods

Central Chapter of the Indiana Native Plant Society invites you to join us for an exciting online event on August 7 at 7 p.m. when we will explore the world of native landscaping and its impact on wildlife in suburban areas. Learn how to create a backyard oasis that attracts beautiful birds, butterflies, and other fascinating creatures. Your backyard could be the perfect place for wildlife to call home. With the right habitat, you can help Indiana’s wildlife survive and thrive. Jessica Merkling, Urban Wildlife biologist with the Indiana Department of Natural Resources, will explain what you can do to build a backyard habitat every critter wants to find.

This event is open to everyone.
