Join us for one or both days of professional development for Native artists looking to start or grow a career as an artist. Meet and learn from RYAN! Feddersen, Dan Friday, Andrea Wilbur-Sigo, and many others about securing funding, starting and running a business, the world of public art, getting into galleries, and vending at markets.

Lunch provided both days, as well as beading workshops from Cynthia Masterman of Blue Dot Beadwork.

Frequently asked questions

Is there parking?

There is a small lot behind the Longhouse, but if that is full you can use the large area of parking in college lot B at 2700 Evergreen Parkway NW and take the short beautiful walk to the House of Welcome.

Is lunch provided?

Yes! Lunch is provided for free. Coffee is also provided at the beginning of the day (9:00 - 9:30 am).

Do I need to attend every session during a workshop day?

Nope! If you have scheduling conflicts, feel free to attend only the sessions you can make it to.

Will I be able to meet the panelists?

Yes! There are networking opportunities at the beginning of the day (9am), during lunch (12:15-1:15pm) and at the end of the day (3:30pm).

Is each workshop day different?

Yes! Each workshop day has a different set of sessions, topics, and panelists, so make sure to attend both if you can for the full experience. View both days of the agenda above by clicking the date.

Do I need to register for both days to attend?

Nope! You can attend one or both days, or you can drop into any session you are interested in. Just make sure to register for the day you plan to be there.

I'm coming from out of town. Where can I stay?

The Hilton Garden Inn and the Courtyard Olympia are two close hotels to The Evergreen State College (about a ten-minute drive.)
