Celebrated each year on June 12 in recognition of the anniversary of the 1948 Women’s Armed Services Integration Act signing, 2024 is the 76th anniversary of that groundbreaking legislation for America’s military women, granting women a permanent place and an opportunity for a career in the nation’s military. On this special day designated to honor America’s military women, past and present, come celebrate with us!

Join us for a festive afternoon of music, recognition, celebration, fun, food, and appreciation for the some 3 million women patriots who have served and are serving this nation so proudly and well.

Event is open to women veterans, servicewomen, and everyone who supports them and the mission of the Memorial. If you are a woman veteran or servicewoman, please be sure to identify yourself when you reserve your tickets.

ATTIRE - Let's fill the Memorial with attire that represents the journey of women's service to the nation. Come as you are or as you wish - duty uniform, service uniform, business, business casual, smart casual. Women veterans are encouraged to wear your uniform from when you served or any piece of it that fits. This is a celebration of who we are and how far we have come.

Situated at the ceremonial entrance to Arlington National Cemetery, the Military Women’s Memorial is the only major national memorial and education center dedicated to preserving and honoring the history of all servicewomen – past and present. More than 3 million women have served in the military since the American Revolution, yet the stories of these courageous patriots are largely untold. For more than 25 years, the mission of the Memorial has been to honor and tell the stories of service of all women who have served our nation. By ensuring these stories of honor, duty, and sacrifice live on in perpetuity, future generations of girls and women are able to see clear pathways and leadership examples through military service. The Memorial educates and inspires through innovative and interactive exhibitions, our world-class collections, and engaging programs and events for all generations.
