Nash Austin Stineman’s Celebration of Life

In your most colorful attire, please join us in celebrating Nash's remarkable life and the legacy he leaves behind. We will be honoring him at an in-person event which will be held at Independence Grove's Audubon Hall. We will gather to share stories and celebrate the light and joy that he brought to everyone around him. Let us draw from his relentless strength as we honor him on this day with plenty of food, drinks and fun for the kids.

Our sweet supe hero, Nash Austin Stineman peacefully gained his wings on Monday, March 18, 2024 at 5:51 after a 7 year battle with his extremely rare condition, called SMARD1. He was at home, surrounded by his entire family, and thankfully made the decision for us. While we are learning to survive without the heartbeat of our home, we made a promise to Nash that we will keep moving forward while we continue to honor his legacy.

Nash touched the lives of so many with his extraordinary courage, unwavering stregnth and boundless love. Despite facing unimaginable challenges, he did so with a smile on his face an a heart full of bravery.

Though he may no longer be with us, Nash's spirit will continue to inspire us all. He showed us what it truly means to be a hero - to fight with all of your might, love with all of your heart and to never give up hope.

Now, more than ever, we feel compelled to carry forward his mission to ensure that the non-profit started by our family, SmashSMARD thrives. In lieu of flowers or gifts, contributions may be made to www.smashSMARD.org or in person. These donations will allow his legacy to live on through others with the same and similar struggles.
