What is the importance of NARCAN training?

<p>On Wednesday, January 18, at 12:00 PM CT, the Herzing University Kenosha campus will host a Layperson Naloxone (NARCAN) training session. The Kenosha Health Department will offer NARCAN training to all interested students, staff, teachers and the community. During this training session you will learn how to:</p><ul><li>Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose</li><li>Acquire knowledge of how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone</li><li>Understand the overall opioid public health crisis and possible solutions</li></ul><p>After the session, all attendees will get a NARCAN kit to take home with them. Make sure that you register your spot today!</p>
