Learn the signs of opioid overdose and how to administer the opioid overdose reversal drug, Naloxone.

<p>Presented by Mark Mason, Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist for R6S, Southwest TN. </p><p>Mark Mason is a Humboldt TN native. He has  been with the Jackson Madison Prevention Coalition since April 2019 as the Regional Overdose Prevention Specialist (ROPS) of Region 6 South, covering all of Southwest  Tennessee. His goal as a ROPS is to educate the public, medical community, law enforcement, first responders, those with Substance Use Disorders and their family on how to use the opioid overdose reversal drug Naloxone (Narcan). He trains and equips individuals with the life saving drug Naloxone (Narcan). Naloxone is a prescription medication used for the treatment of  an opioid emergency such as an overdose or a possible opioid overdose along with always calling 911.</p>
