NAPSA Workshop 2018

NAPSA is a coalition of nine of the leading primate sanctuaries on the continent, who provide lifetime care to over 820 monkeys and apes.Our mission is to unite the primate sanctuary community, build capacity to provide sanctuary for captive nonhuman primates, and advocate to eliminate primate exploitation.

Your mission, should you choose to accept it: Attend, network and learn from primate and sanctuary experts as we explore topics from the practical to the theoretical - all to ensure the highest quality of care for captive nonhuman primates. 
NAPSA's 2018 Workshop is being held in Gainesville, Florida. Workshop presentations will take place on April 25th and 26th at the Holiday Inn University Center. Registration includes breakfast and a coffee and snack break on both days. All food at NAPSA events is vegan and vegetarian. You will be on your own for lunch and dinner, but dining suggestions will be provided.
There are a number of optional events occuring before and after Workshop presentations. You will need tickets to attend all optional events. These events are not included in your standard registration, so please make sure to select these items if you would like to participate. Availability will be limited. Detailed information on these events can be found by clicking "More Info" for each event listed above.

<LI>April 24th - Complimentary drinks reception at the hotel. This will run from 5-7pm in the Outdoor Pool Deck of the Holiday Inn University Center. In the event of inclement weather, the reception will be held in the hotel's President's Room. You will be given a ticket for one free drink, and you will be responsible for purchasing any additional drinks during this reception.</LI>
<LI>April 26th - Recognition Dinner at the hotel. Fee of $25. This will be at 7pm in the Florida and Champions Room of the Holiday Inn University Center. You will have a choice of vegan entrees. Meal options will be emailed to ticket holders. Note that tickets for this event must be purchased by April 10th, no exceptions.</LI>
<LI>April 27th - Complimentary tour and lunch at Jungle Friends Primate Sanctuary. Transportation will be provided. Limited to 50 people. Please note you must sign up for the tour and use NAPSA's bus in order to participate in the event, unless other arrangements have been made with NAPSA's Program Director. The bus will leave the hotel at 9am and return by 1:00pm. We will enjoy a vegan lunch while at the sanctuary, thanks to Jungle Friends!  </LI>
<LI>April 28th - Tour and lunch at Center for Great Apes. Fee of $25 due to distance traveled and associated costs. Transportation will be provided. Limited to 50 people. Please note you must sign up for the tour and use NAPSA's bus in order to participate in the event, unless other arrangements have been made with NAPSA's Program Director. The bus will leave the hotel at 8am and return by 6:00pm. We will enjoy a vegan lunch while at the sanctuary, thanks to Center for Great Apes! </LI>
