NAMI Broward County hosts NAMIWalks Broward, a 5K Walk and Mental Health Fair on Saturday, October 4, 2025, at Nova Southeastern University
Join us for NAMIWalks Broward—a powerful morning of fitness, fundraising, and mental health advocacy that brings hope and help to those who need it most. Get local resources at our Mental Health Fair and band together on a 5K Walk with our community—united to ensure no one walks alone in their mental health journey.Why We Walk: To promote awareness of mental health and reduce stigma, to fund NAMI Broward’s free top-rated mental health programs, and to build community and let people know they are not aloneFunds raised from NAMIWalks Broward will help NAMI Broward accomplish its mission to eradicate the stigma of mental illness and improve the quality of life for all individuals struggling with mental health conditions. The non-profit organization provides free support groups, education, legislative advocacy, and resources to the Broward County mental health community. Programs include: Family-to-Family, Peer-to-Peer, Basics, Ending the Silence, and participation in Crisis Intervention Training (CIT) for law enforcement personnel, among others.
