Family Connection of South Carolina

Family Connection hosts NAMI’s Parent Refresh Training to give you community resources and strategies to support your child’s mental health.

<p>NAMI Refresh and Reclaim is a 60-minute interactive session that discusses how parents have been feeling during the pandemic and the importance of self-care and setting healthy boundaries including identifying obstacles that may prevent parents from practicing self-care and healthy boundaries. Parents and caregivers will also learn effective communication techniques.  Emphasis will be placed on parents/caregivers’ personal mental wellness and making connections with other caregivers. National, statewide, and local mental health resources will also be explored.</p>
