Who is eligible to attend this course?

First Responders may register for this course at no cost, participants will receive a supply of naloxone to support their community. First Responders include: (Law Enforcement Officers, Jailers, CBP officers, Firefighters, EMS personnel, Nurses, School Nurses, School Officers, and Crisis Workers)


Developed specifically for First Responders, this course will provide a foundational understanding of the opioid public health crisis and the overdose epidemic and how to recognize and respond to an opioid overdose.


What You Will Learn

  • Acquire a foundational understanding of the opioid public health crisis and the overdose epidemic
  • Recognize the signs of an opioid overdose
  • Demonstrate how to administer the intranasal opioid overdose reversal drug naloxone
