Speaker: Kari Johnson, Ph.D. RN, ACNS-BC, Hartford Scholar
Kari Johnson is a PhD prepared Clinical Nurse Specialist at Honor Health Clinical Center for Excellence in Scottsdale, Arizona with over 45 years of nursing experience. Kari completed her PhD, and is a Hartford Scholar, Hartford Center of Gerontological Nursing Excellence at Arizona State University College of Nursing and Health Innovation, 2015. Kari functions as Core Faculty for HonorHealth Geriatric Academic Medicine Fellowship. Functions as a mentor for quality improvement, evidence-based practice, and research initiatives. Recognized by Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) as a leader in the Age-Friendly evidence-based practice across the 4M’s (What Matters, Medication, Mentation, and Mobility). Reviewer for Geriatric Nursing Journal. Reviewer for American Nurses Association Innovation Award peer review process. Dementia Fellow through Hospice of the Valley. Publications in nursing journals. Speaker at National and State conferences.
