Myths and Monsters Summer Camp

  • Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28 from 1pm-5pm each day
  • For students entering grades 5-6


Hop in a time machine and go back to a land of mythology and monsters! Learn the tales of Greek Mythology with real artifacts from Ancient Greece. Play Medusa Tag, make clay monsters and see if you can make it through the River of Fire obstacle course! Navigate a monster maze and create your very own monsters and mythological tales to share with others!

Frequently asked questions

Do I need to bring a printed registration confirmation?

No. We will have a list for check-in at the door.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Children may bring a labeled water bottle. We encourage participants to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty.

Will there be snack time?

There will be snack time during the event. Please let us know if your child has any dietary restrictions.

Is early drop off/late pick up available?

Unfortunately, we are not able to offer early drop off or late pick up at this time.

Can I have someone else drop off or pick up my child?

Yes. Please list their name on the registration form. The child will not be released unless the person is either on the registration form or prior arrangements have been made with the Education Department. You can contact them at education@worldtreasures.org or by calling 316.263.1311.

Can parents stay to join in the fun?

We ask parents to enjoy this time to do the things parents need to do, as this will be a camp just for the kids. Please make sure your children understand that you will not be staying with them during the camp.

What happens if the camp is cancelled?

In the unlikely event that camp is cancelled, you will receive a full refund minus any Eventbrite fees and be notified one week prior to start of camp.

Are scholarships available for this summer camp?

Summer camp scholarships are sometimes available based on need and subject to funding. Please email education@worldtreasures.org to inquire.
