EPIC Families,

Join us for a field trip on Wednesday, November 15th to the newly renovated Myriad Gardens Crystal Bridge Conservatory in downtown Oklahoma City! Come check out the beautiful reflection pool and the all new, vast plant collections, all while overlooking beautiful terraces and even a waterfall feature. Students will enjoy a self-guided walk through the crystal bridge and have the opportunity to participate in an engaging scavenger hunt! Epic Field Trip COST:

• Students: $5.50

• Adults: $10.50

• Parking: Not Free-Myriad Gardens does not have a parking lot. You can pay to park along street parking or pay to park in parking lots and garages near the gardens. A map and parking information is linked here.

ITINERARY: We will begin our day by meeting inside the Myriad Gardens South Entrance. There are three check in times available. Our students will take a self guided scavenger hunt through the indoor garden!

CHECK-IN PROCEDURE: Upon arrival, please check in with an Epic Family Engagement staff member who will be in Epic gear and located inside the front entrance to receive a copy of the schedule. We’d also love to see you in your Epic gear!

• 10:00 Group #1 Check In at 9:50

• 10:30 Group #2 Check in at 10:20

• 11:00 Group #3 Check in at 10:50

• 12:00 Lunchtime Meet at the tables to the Southwest of the Crystal Bridge for an outdoor lunch together. (Lunch is optional and is weather permitting. Families will bring their own sack lunch.)

• 12:30 Field Trip Conclusion

Our field trips are student centered. We ask that you help us by allowing students to be toward the front of the tour and room. Parents and caregivers may be asked to be toward the back of the room so as to not obstruct the view for students.

POLICIES: This Epic field trip is not free for students or adults, and the learning fund cannot be used to pay for this field trip. You will register for a ticket using Eventbrite which will hold your spot for the field trip as a reservation. Parents, please register yourself and each of your Epic students who will be participating. This enables the school and the location to staff and plan appropriately. Our field trips do have a maximum capacity. Therefore, we ask that when registering your students, you only register Epic enrolled Pre-K through 12th grade students so that the spots are filled by our students.

Students cannot be dropped off to attend a field trip without a parent or guardian. You will need your student’s Epic ID number and teacher’s name when signing up for the field trip in Eventbrite.

This is a public event and photographs and or video may be taken during the activity. If you prefer your student to not have a photograph or video taken please let our Epic staff know during check in.

Sensory Bags: Sensory bags will be available to check out for use at this event. Upon arrival, see any Epic Family Engagement team member to check a bag out and return all sensory bags to an Epic Family Engagement team member before leaving the event. There is a limited supply of sensory bags.

CANCELLATIONS: How do I cancel my family's reservation? To cancel the reservation and allow other students to attend in those spots you will go to the email sent from Eventbrite with the subject line: Your Tickets for the Myriad Gardens Crystal Bridge field trip. Then scroll to the bottom of the email and click the words "View and Manage your online order." This will open up spots for other families and is very important as the location needs accurate numbers before we arrive.

What is the inclement Weather Plan? If we have inclement weather, we will send out communication by email through Eventbrite to let you know if the field trip has been canceled.
