MY Gingerbread Workshop

Manhattan Youth provides the highest quality childcare, educational, recreational and cultural activities to people of all ages - from toddlers to seniors - who live or work in Lower Manhattan, regardless of income. Our programs stimulate, challenge and strengthen children, teens, adults, seniors and families. Our services respond to the needs of our community; we are the only community-based organization serving these needs in Lower Manhattan.

Manhattan Youth

The creativity! The candy! The memories! If you've ever dreamed of constructing your own edible edifice like the gingerbread house visited by Hansel and Gretel, then join us Sunday, December 13th for one of our favorite seasonal events. Led by our early childhood art instructors, parents and children ages 4-12 will decorate, design, and eat everything from frosted candy roofs to pretzel picket fences. Your family will enjoy the cheerful holiday tunes and spend some quality time with your favorite creative chef, and of course, have no mess to clean up at the end!
 
Sunday, December 13th at the Downtown Community Center
Workshops begin at 11:00 am and 1:00 pm
$50 per child 
Best of all, proceeds will be donated to financial assistance for needy families to attend Downtown Day Camp!
