How to make a compelling pitch

Great pitches tell great stories. Learn how to deliver concise and compelling presentations tailored to your audience. This session will address a broad range of presentations:

-- Showcases (for school or research projects)

-- Investors/Competitions

-- Customers/Stakeholders

Note: This will be a hybrid event. Participants can either attend in person at The Toaster innovation hub in Walter Library, or remotely via Zoom (details provided in your registration confirmation).

Speaker: Carla Pavone, PhD

Dr. Pavone is Associate Director of the Holmes Center for Entrepreneurship. She helps science/engineering innovators and ventures to advance their technologies closer to the market through experiential education and business ecosystem connections. As the program director MIN-Corps, she has led the design and delivery of commercialization education and coaching programs have touched thousands of innovators, evaluated over 450 concepts, generated 34 startups and raised more than $38 million in commercialization grants and equity funding.
