Join our festival artists for Mendelssohn's thrilling Octet for Strings and Beethoven's groundbreaking Cello Sonata in G Minor.
Beethoven was a great inspiration for Mendelssohn, and composed several radical early works that fundamentally changed the course of music. His Cello Sonata in G Minor veers from operatic overture to turbulent waters and finally a rondo movement of inspired wit and charm.
Musicians include brilliant featured festival artists Abigel Kralik, Gareth Lubbe, Elmore Quartet, Khanh Nhi Luong and Artistic Director Adrian Brendel.
