Station's Musical Improv Jam is for improv performers and students of any improv or musical skill level. You do not have to be able to sing or play an instrument! Improv Jams are open practices for improv students & performers to practice musical improv in a supportive environment, but we also welcome musicians and singer who are interested in improv!
Station Theater Jams are an excellent opportunity to practice on stage, get in your reps, and bond with fellow performers! All attendees should be prepared to participate. All experience levels are welcome - from experienced veterans to students just starting.
Station Theater Improv Jams are for improv comedy performers. This is not a show. Spectators are not permitted. This jam is an open practice for comedy improv students & performers to practice musical improv in a supportive environment.

The Musical Improv Jam is a place for performers to connect and practice the art of improvised singing. We will work on song structures, singing with confidence, and more! Musicians are encouraged to bring instruments to accompany the songs! This is a closed event for improv performers and students from Houston. Visiting improvisers are also welcome.
Station Theater offers an array of specialty jams in addition to our Bi-Weekly Community Jams (1st & 3rd Saturdays of the month). Specialty Jams rotate on the 2nd and 4th Saturday of the month. Check events for dates!

You must have a ticket to attend. Only 20 attendees will be admitted, so get your tickets now! Please email info@stationtheater.com to cancel your ticket if you are unable to attend.

Located next to Toros HTX Soccer on Crockett between Taylor and Hemphill Streets.
PARKING & TRANSPORTATION: Ample street parking is available along Crockett, Hemphill, Summer, and Taylor Streets. Please check street signs for parking availability. Do not park in the lot in front of Toros HTX unless they are closed. Please be mindful when parking in front of area homes, as some driveways are difficult to see. The #30 bus stops at Sawyer St and Shearn St, which is approximately a 2-minute walk. See attached photo of our building for reference.
