Overview

🎵 Welcome to "Musical Beginnings Summer Camp"! 🎶

Designed for curious minds aged 4 to 6, our camp is where your child will embark on an enchanting journey into the world of music, guided by Marice, one of our experienced intro to music teachers.

Every day is a new melody-filled adventure! From discovering rhythm to embracing melody, our campers engage in playful activities and games that make learning music fun and exciting. They'll get hands-on with instruments, sing catchy tunes, and much more, all carefully crafted to ignite their passion and provide the foundations for future music lessons.

And the grand finale? A special performance where they proudly showcase what they've learned, creating cherished memories for family and friends.

Camp hours are from 9 am to 1 pm daily, offering the perfect balance of musical exploration and summer fun. Plus, we've got you covered with convenient before and aftercare options.

Frequently asked questions

What is the age range for campers?

4 to 6 years old. If you have a child outside of that age range, but you think would still be a good fit for this camp, please feel free to send us an email and we can discuss further.

Who are the instructors and what are their qualifications?

Our instructors are professionally trained musicians with university degrees in music. They have years worth of experience in music instruction and summer camps, especially with this age bracket. Every TKAM teacher submits a vulnerable sector police check and completes safety training upon hiring.

What activities will my child be participating in?

Each day is structured around an element of music to provide a solid foundation for a musical future! These include: large group music games and activities, small group music lessons, individual music exploration time, crafts, and outdoor time.

Is there a specific musical background required for campers?

No experience necessary! This is the perfect camp to start exploring a curiosity for music!

What safety measures are in place during the camp?

All staff have completed our Plan To Protect safety training and submitted a successful vulnerable sector check. TKAM is a certified "Official Safety Plan Music School," with security cameras and see-through doors in every room. Our camps have a maximum of twelve campers to maximize safety and fun.

What should my child bring to camp each day?

Snacks, outdoor clothing, and their awesome personality!
