First Congregational UCC's Sanctuary Working Group

MUSIC WITHOUT BORDERS 
In an echo of the immigrant crisis today, Lilo Gonzalez fled from civil war in El Salvador in the 1980s with his family toward dreams of a brighter future in the United States. Now a successful musician in the D.C. area, Gonzalez and his band will perform a free family-friendly concert at First Church at 7 pm on Friday, May 17. All donations will benefit the Capital Area Immigrants’ Rights Coalition and the Congregation Action Network. You can make donations using the eventbrite ticket link, and donations will be accepted at the door.

Un concierto para toda la familia. Lilo González y su banda tocarán su música latina y compartirán historias de Lilo, un inmigrante Salvadoreno que huyó durante la guerra civil. 
El concierto es gratuito con todas las donaciones que apoyan a la Coalición por los Derechos de los Inmigrantes del Área de la Capital y Red de Congregaciones en Acción. Las donaciones se pueden hacer aquí usando el enlace de Entradas o en la puerta.
