Music of Remembrance and Gratitude

The narrative in Dan Forrest's Requiem for the Living provides hope for the living as they cope with life's many challenges. The exquisite textures and sonorities will sound incredible in Woolsey Hall and will bathe the audience with a sense of light, peace, and comfort. The concert will also include excerpts from The Here and Now by Christopher Theofanidis, selections from Cantata 29 by J.S. Bach, and moving works by Craig Hella Johnson, Gwyneth Walker, and Eriks Ešenvalds will also be featured. And of course, our audience will also be led in song!
