Get your creative and technical skills flowing at Music Hack 2017!

Join us for an amazing day of technical wizardry, artistic wonder, innovation, collaboration and fun. Let's make music together - no previous musical experience required, although a love of creating sounds will be an advantage! Come meet exceptional talent from Chicago's best tech companies, schools, music industry leaders and cutting edge creators.

For this year's hack, participants will be part of a new music composition process which will ultimately have its world premiere on stage at the Harris Theater next fall. Stay tuned for more clues on that day's challenge. We will be partnering with Fulcrum Point New Music Project, and a MacArthur Foundation grant that brings Mexican composer Javier Alvarez to Chicago to curate sounds from this event and more.
