Why are we doing this event -
June 2022 Kaiden was diagnosed with having a brain tumour. He had to have surgery to remove it followed by proton beam therapy & chemo therapy.
In July 2023 Kaiden rang the bell to mark end of treatment, following this all that was required was for Kaiden to have routine MRI's to check there was no regrowth.
Unfortunately, in March 2024 during a routine MRI a spot was seen in his spine, and on further investigation has been confirmed as relapse. The tumour is in his spinal cord in his neck. The
family are absolutely shattered and heartbroken. He has had a lumbar puncture in March which determined what treatment options there were. On 15th April Kaiden started chemo again.
The family have set a GO Fund Me page to try & make life as fun as possible for Kaiden as well as looking into alternative treatments for him -
